Currently separate, but might have to try them out combined. Only question I've come up with so far is whether it's best to have a combined SSID for 2.4 GHz & 5GHz, or separate. Setup was mostly painless, except I got hung up trying to get it to detect the internet, until I reset my cable modem. Has better range on 5GHz than the Archer C7, but still might get another AP for a different floor of the house.
